NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE PROGRAM

This program offers analysis and recommendations for the long-term management of natural resources, with an emphasis on national security, on issues related to mitigation and adaptation to the effects of climate change. Through the analysis of these trends, we identify risks and opportunities, taking into account that both are crucial for the development of business plans and the formulation of strategies and public or private policies. This program focuses on the scientific, technical, and political understanding of natural resources and ecology, their complexities, and their management in the context of national security, global issues, and climate change action. Working with governments, academia, civil society and the private sector, we look at the growing demand for food, water and energy to assess the risks and challenges associated with future supply, and build a long-term strategy to ensure available resources, and announcement conflicts. Through this program, CEELAT encourages leaders in all sectors to take the necessary measures to protect and prepare society from the projected impacts of climate change (including natural disasters), highlighting adaptation, mitigation and sustainability as the strategic options
